Welcome to the fifth #maeseason!

We have a variety of unique programs for your enjoyment and education featuring professional musicians, painters, dancers, and storytellers. All events are taken place in Concert Hall of Shaare Shamayim.

We start on February 16 with our friends, Concert Operetta theater presenting their critically acclaimed recital "Jewish Composers of Operetta".

On February 23rd, Kit Crissey will return with the new program, featuring best classically trained artists-immigrants from the former Soviet Union.

We are going to have a first MAE fundraiser, "The House of Arising Music" featuring professional blues and jazz musicians and singers from Philadelphia and New York. The program will benefit our new Art Incubator program with the same name

On March 14, in collaboration with the "Independence String Ensemble" and "Three Horizons" nonprofit MAE present a multimedia program "The Healing Sound of Music" - the trifecta pleasure for your ears, eyes and the brain that creates a true atmosphere. Music - Independence String Ensemble. Michael Shingo Crowford (violin), Steve Kramer (cello). Paintings - Alexandr Popov-Mikhaylov. And finally, "An Apostle of Culture", Mikhail Kazinik on the video screen to provide his exhilarating and passionate music storytelling.

On May 17th, "Asya Zlatina, and Dancers" return to MAE with their new program "Maybe Even Higher" that blends together several references to Jewish creatives of the 19th and 20th centuries, with the goal of raising awareness about their important and vastly different work and circumstance.

On June 21st a storyteller extraordinaire, journalist and PR maven with 52 years of experience Ed Eisen will make you laugh, cry and think very hard during his multimedia program "Mother Teresa, Mafia, and Me".

The season will conclude with another Crissey Concert featuring works of contemporary American composers.
